VDV is the sports section and the training of Vento di Venezia.

The Naval Base is located at the Certosa Island in Venice.

The branches are three main streams of VdV: The Nautical School, dedicated to training in the field of recreational and courses for obtaining a sailing license, the Sports Division, which deals with the Sailing School for children and adults and offers courses at various levels and with different addresses, Venice Sea School RYA Training Center, which organizes courses starting from Start Yachting to get to the "Yachtmaster Offshore" with the release of its professional qualifications as required by the Royal Yachting Association included the SRC certificate for use of  VHF / DSC . The staff of the Venice Sea School consists of a group of young sailors with thousands of miles of sailing behind him who have dedicated their energies with passion, expertise and professional skills to this activity and who are determined to provide their skills and adapt to everyone's needs and provide all the tools to live the sea with joy, respect and security.
